Let’s Run Social has an odd story, this isn’t two friends from school with an idea. This is a story of two business partners who nearly lost it all due to GDPR.

Nick and James have been in the Data game for over 11 years, and this business provides cold prospect lists for the UK b2b Market, everything from Zoo’s to Bakery’s.
Essentially they are Data geeks!
When GDPR draft 1 was first released it was clear that businesses could no longer market to cold prospect lists, the ICO and the DMA was going to put a stop to it. So a business selling cold prospect lists… it didn’t look great.
So while staring down the barrel of the gun for some time, Nick had a genius idea…
Nick “Why don’t we look at Facebook Marketing”
James “Not interested, it’s for cool London agencies who have jugglers in reception”
So after days and hours of Nick trying to convince James, he told Nick to go away and prove it.
So Nick went off and 3 months later, came back with some startling results. Nick had managed to grow a local gym from 38 members to 180 odd!
James’ ears pricked and it was only then went in the back end of Facebook and saw how much data was at our disposal!
After 3 years in a dark cave, testing, learning and repeating, it was time for Let’s Run Social to be known to the outside world.
And in June 2020 we went LIVE!!
