The Challenge:

The Munchkin and Bear play mats are now in over 30,000 homes globally. Subtle and stylish, perfect for family spaces, nurseries and playrooms. The mats are wipe-clean, waterproof, ultra-soft, non-toxic and reversible.

The challenge given to us was to increase sales in the UK using Facebook Advertising. The only Digital Marketing pillar that Munchkin and Bear were deploying here.

Our Solution:

We wanted to use a Problem/Solution strategy to emphasise the need for a mat to be in as many households across the UK as possible. This strategy needed to clearly define audiences that could afford such a product, and minimise wasted spend on browsers.

We used a wide Top of Funnel content approach, followed by a tight retargeting at the bottom of funnel to create sales.

Our strategy was so successful that the return on ad spend was as high at the top of the funnel as it was at the bottom, an unusual phenomenon in marketing!
